Jon Maloney Founder and MD of Go 2 College Soccer

Having worked within the women’s soccer college recruitment industry for over ten years, we have a wealth of experience and knowledge that we can use to help you find the best possible fit. We understand that every player is an individual and are looking for something different from their student athlete experience. One size certainly doesn’t fit all so whether you dream of the big NCAA D1 College environment or would prefer a more intimate Junior College (and everything else in between!) we have the contacts to help make this become a reality.

We are a company that has built a strong foundation by concentrating on quality over quantity when it comes to players. We want our service to be personal and we want to get to know our players and their families throughout this experience. We have a number of former players who are always at our trial events and showcase events who give up their time to talk to players about their experiences.

Having helped place players at some of the top universities in America including Florida State University, Northwestern University, Rutgers University and USC to name a few, we have built a reputation amongst coaches for not only sending fantastic players to America but also great people. We feel that whatever level a player goes into, they need to be comfortable in their surroundings for them to thrive both on and off the pitch.

As a company we will help you all the way through the process and that includes when you are over in America and even when your time as a student athlete has come to an end.

Our Go 2 Ambassadors

Our Go 2 Ambassadors have all been student athletes in the past and have gone on to do great things both on and off the soccer pitch

Molly Sharpe

Molly had a stand out career as a student athlete at Barry University in Florida. A four year starter, Molly finished off her career in fine form scoring 14 goals and having 13 assists in her senior year. She was voted the Sunshine State Conference Attacking Player of the year and also garnered All Region and All American awards. On her return to the U.K, Molly has played for Durham and currently, Crystal Palace in the FA Women's Championship. Molly has a great attitude both on and off the pitch and is an excellent role model for any student athlete.

Jade Pennock

Jade started her student athlete career at the University of Montevallo before transferring for her final year to the University of North Georgia where she was an NCAA D2 All American. Jade received a Kinesiology and Exercise Science Bachelors degree before going on and completing a Master’s in Public Administration. Jade has since returned to England and worked her way from Tier 6 through to the FAWSL where she currently plays with Birmingham City.

Shanade Hopcroft

Shanade attended Daytona State Junior College before finishing up her student athlete career at the University of Colorado-Boulder in the PAC-12. Following graduation, Shanade returned to England and is now playing with Crystal Palace in the FA Women’s Championship.

Mollie Rouse

A member of the England U19 Women’s Squad that won the Bronze medal, Mollie spent two years at the University of Louisville before finishing her student athlete career at the University of Central Florida. Mollie received a bachelors degree in Psychology. When returning to England, Mollie played with both Lewes FC and London City Lionesses. After spending 2 years in the Bundesliga with FFC Turbine Potsdam, Mollie has now signed with Sunderland AFC Women.

Rachel Dugdale

(neé Newborough)

Rachel was a graduate player at Boston College after finishing her undergraduate degree here in the U.K. Having spent 18 months in America and finishing with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Leadership, Rachel has since been capped by Northern Ireland and is currently with Reading Women FC.

Aqsa Mushtaq

Aqsa had a stellar 4 years at Lenoir Rhyne University where she was voted the regional player of the year and also an All American. Aqsa then played professionally in Greece and Italy before returning to the U.K and is currently with OFI Crete Women FC in the Greek Premier League.

Tasha Hudson

Tash had a standout student athlete career undertaking two years in Miami with Barry University and then two years in Charlotte with UNC Charlotte. Having garnered All Region and All American awards at Barry University, Tash then moved to UNC Charlotte where she excelled as team captain scoring 8 goals and leading the team on scoring. We look forward to following her progress.

Maddie Brant

Maddie enjoyed a fantastic student athlete career spending 3 years at the prestigious Rutgers University before transferring for her final two years at Iowa State. Maddie is a quality left back who was a regular starter at Iowa State and helped the team to the most successful season since 2016. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for her back in England.
